Herbarium - clothes with the "scent" of herbs
"This is lavender," she tells her as she leans over and smells the herb. She shows her daughter small flowers and explains their healing effects. She slowly plots them in her own herbarium while her daughter happily runs around.
From these drawings came a print, from the print a whole fabric and from a fabric a piece of clothes.
How the Herbarium collection came about
Out of love for nature, for herbs and their effects, out of love for common moments, a collection with a touch of nature was created.
The inspiration was the herbarium, drawings of herbs, their description, names and folk names. Wisdom preserved for centuries. The healing power is administered selflessly.
People created herbariums so that they could pass on their wisdom and experience to future generations.
The beauty of herbs on dresses
Our Jane captured various herbs and plants from fields and meadows. She immortalized them on canvas, from which unique pieces for small and large were sewn.
First the drawing, then the adjustment, then choosing the appropriate size, colour combinations, cuts... This collection has been prepared for months.
I remember Jane coming excited and glowing with happiness, she couldn't wait to tell me about the idea.
She glowed just as the last piece of the puzzle snapped into place. Like when you find the right idea after a long time thinking.
And then I saw her working on it. Herbariums, books, drawings, prints, suddenly the table was full.
Together with Ina, they put the whole puzzle together and created this beautiful collection.
The collection captures not only nature through drawings, but also the love and wisdom that nature has been passing on to us for centuries.
New cuts for clothes
This beautiful idea really got a lot of attention and that's why we decided to add something new to the collection.
New cut of the girl's sweatshirt. Gentle details, one-colour fabric and modern style complete the pieces from this collection.
In the collection, you will find clothes that match together perfectly. The individual pieces work together gently and are in harmony, just like the flowers in the meadow. Contrasting drawings of herbs stand out on a cream or dark blue background.
